What actually determines whether a fence lasts
Almost nobody's fence fails because of the pickets. It fails at the ground line, where a wood post sits in wet soil and slowly gives up, or at the cut ends and back faces that never got sealed. That is why we build with Postmaster steel posts and pre-stained lumber as standard rather than as an upsell — a galvanised steel core where the wood used to rot, and every board sealed on all six sides before it goes up. From the street it still reads as an all-cedar fence, because the steel sits hidden behind the pickets.
Built for the ground it's going into
New Braunfels dirt is not one thing. A flat subdivision lot in Vintage Oaks digs nothing like a caliche shelf out toward Canyon Lake, and a fence line that crosses a grade change needs to be stepped or racked deliberately rather than left to follow the slope badly. We walk the line before we quote, so the number you get accounts for the ground you actually have.

How long does a fence installation take?
Most residential fence builds are a one to three day job once we're on site, depending on the length of the run, the terrain and whether an old fence has to come out first. We'll give you a realistic window with your quote rather than a best case.
Do you remove the old fence?
Yes. Tear-out and haul-away is part of the job and we'll itemise it on the quote so you can see exactly what it costs.
Can you match an existing fence on the property?
Usually. Bring us a photo when you request a quote and we'll tell you honestly whether a new section will blend or whether the difference in weathering will show.
